I do not recommend pulling a random cone off the street and keeping it. That's not how this works. You're going to cause it more harm than good.
But I do acknowledge that there are situations where, much like any other animal, keeping an injured cone in your care is the best option.
and so, I'm gonna put all I know down here.

Cones need a sizable space, with ample shelter available. If the cone physically cannot get itself to the shelter, you MUST help it.
An ideal patch of land is a minimum of 10m by 4m. Minimum. You want a floor consisting of a mix of dirt, very fine gravel or sand, maybe a little mud, and some bare flat stone.
Keep a few plants or large rocks available nearby. Weed regularly, but leave a little for the cone to eat.

Do not put the cone on large pebbles or small rocks. The cone WILL try to eat them, and like an axolotl, it'll do nothing but cause issues for everyone involved.

Do not keep cones near bollards I will actually find your cone and take it for myself
